Yesterday, I went to a Chinese wake. It was held at a funeral parlour. Never been to one before, although I did saw it once on tv. I found out that everything is in yellow. Prayers were done in groups and lead by a monk wearing a black robe and hat accompanied by drums and pipes. Child of the decesed were required to wear black with a hat and robe made from sack on top. There’s a couple of man gambling at the back of the room. I found out later that it’s actually one of the custom held during a wake.

My condolensence to Lim Kah King and his family

Yesterday evening, one of my close friend lost her purse. Kitorg otw nak tgk ‘War of the World’ kat TGV Sunway tiba2 dia kata

‘Eh?!’

Lepas 2 minit panik meraba2 dlm gelap, dengan muka pucat lesi baru la dia tanya ‘Ko nampak purse aku tak?’

‘Takde pun’, sambil tangan kiri aku raba2 celah seat. ‘Kat mana ko tinggal?’

‘Kat toilet Cyberjaya kot’

Pernah jadi kat korang? Yup, kes wallet atau purse hilang. Berdasar pengalaman aku yg byk ber’member’kan org yg suka hilang wallet/purse, ini langkah2 yg patut mangsa amik

1. Remain calm. Tarik nafas dalam2. Panik is normal masa ni.

2. Call sapa2 yg korang tau yg ada dekat dgn tempat kehilangan tu. Mintak tolong dia check tempat kehilangan tu.

3. Pegi balik kat tempat wallet tu tertinggal. Kalau tak tau, trace balik tempat2 yg korang pegi. Kebarangkalian tinggi, wallet tu dah takde. Tp ingat, masih ada kebarangkalian yg wallet tu still ada kat situ. So, better korg pegi check.

4. Kalau wallet tu dah takde, tanya kat pekerja2 kat area tu kalau2 diorg terjumpa wallet, contohnye
- Janitor
- Management office
- Guard

5. Kalau takde gak, cari dalam tong sampah berhampiran. Selalunye, pencuri cuma berminat dgn duit. Wallet tu, dia akan buang.

6. Kalau takde jugak, relax. Jgn tension. Start dgn call credit card company utk report missing card. Pastu buat report polis kat balai polis berhampiran. Simpan salinan report tu. Salinan ni penting utk buat kad pengenalan baru, driving license baru.
